This is a jacket I bought in February and it’s a bit of a weird one; you don’t immediately think “track jacket” when you see this jacket but that is what Adidas calls it. It’s more of a softshell, outdoorsy kind of a jacket. It has two zip pockets and a fake breast pocket just below the 007-branding. The fake pocket is obviously a nod to James Bond’s suits, but I still find it strange. The jacket is lined and it has three stripes which curve slightly around the arms. The ribbed collar zips up into a high neck.
This jacket works well for hiking and walking when it’s neither too cold or too warm outside. At least that’s what I have been using it for. The Adidas product code is GN6810. You can still find the jacket if you look around, although it’s now not as widely available as when I got mine. There is also a women’s version: GN6817. It’s slightly shorter than the men’s version.
I like this jacket, but I could do without the James Bond branding if I’m honest, since I’m not particularly a fan. The last Bond movie I remember seeing was “The World Is Not Enough” from 1999, where a sexy Denise Richards swims around in a white t-shirt and a baby-blue zip-top at the end.
