I am a big fan of the Adidas Europa; a jacket which Adidas first introduced in 1977 and then brought back in the mid-00’s as part of the Adidas Originals line.
I bought my first Adidas Europa in the summer of 2005. In fact, I bought two jackets at that time: a red one and the black one below. These jackets and I quickly became inseparable and that’s when I started dressing the way I still do: a t-shirt. a pair of jeans, and a track top. The only difference between then and now is that I used to wear boots all the time and now I wear sneakers all the time. Why did I switch? While the boots I used to wear looked way cooler they weren’t really suited to walking and I walk a lot.
If I remember correctly, the summer of 2005 was quite hot but that didn’t stop me from having the collars up. A huge attraction with these jackets were the collars which look really nice zipped all the way up.
