A Cropped Bomber!

I bought a cheap cropped faux leather bomber jacket, but is it any good?

To find this jacket, search for:

I won’t lie, it was the collar that attracted me to this jacket :-).

This is a jacket for women and since it is cropped, it ends up being ridiculously short on me (I am a man). However, the XL-sized jacket fits around my shoulders and I can zip it without any problems.

The jacket is made out of “faux leather”, aka plastic. The collar is made out of a quite firm, but stretchy, double layered synthetic fabric.

The zippers on cheap jackets like this are often quite bad, but I find the zipper on this jacket to be perfectly fine. As you can tell from the video below, the pull makes a nice rattling sound when you move around.

There are two chest pockets to the left, both with zippers, and one to the right without a zipper. The pockets are too small to fit anything other than like a credit card.

I prefer collars that come up to my eyes (or higher!) and the collar on this jacket does not disappoint in that regard! It looks fucking awesome zipped all the way up in front of the lower face like a mask! That it will keep your neck and face warm is just an added bonus :-).

What I like to do with collars like these, is to fold them over slightly at the back while still having them stand over my nose at the front. A style, I’ve called the “anteater”. It works and looks great with this collar.

So, should you buy it? I think you can see where this is going… yes, you should! At least if you’re a woman. If you’re a man, you have to consider that the jacket is *very* cropped. You also have to consider that it’s only available up to a woman’s XL. I’m a man’s large M or sometimes an L. If you’re bigger than that, it’s not for you.

Coming soon: A look at the jacket which I am wearing on top of the jacket in the last video!
